Once a Buyer is interested in your listing, they will proceed to an area under your listing that will request their name, number and email address. The Buyer fills out the information and sends it through the site. This information is then sent directly to your cell phone in the form of a text message – we call these “leads”. Every time you get one of the “leads”, we charge you $2.00 which goes directly onto your cell phone bill (Standard text message rates from your carrier may apply).

Text4Cars.com’s Alerts Function Program
We know that our site won’t always have what you are looking for, that’s why we’ve built this added system. When you perform a search and no results match what you want, you will be alerted to sign up on the Alerts Function. What this function does is notifies you when a vehicle of match appears on our site. When it does, you will be sent a text message notifying you of the availability. At that point, you can request that the Seller be notified with your contact information, or you can stop further notifications. All this at NO COST to any Buyer!

We have many security features built into our site to protect consumers as they use our systems. Not only are we providing efficiency for our Buyers and Sellers, we also want to protect them. All contact information submitted into Text4Cars.com is stored only in our database. This information is NOT available to the public nor is it sold to any marketing or advertising firms. We want every user on our system to be comfortable knowing that they are safe when it comes to using Text4Cars.com
5 Lead Confirmation Setup…
If you are a Seller and worried that you might get false leads sent to your account, then be assured that this security feature will minimize damage if it were to happen. Our lead generation system is being monitored on an hourly basis. All transactions and lead generations are stored and tracked not only by us but as well as by the network carriers. Regulations by the network carriers and the CSC require additional features like this to protect users. When you have received 5 leads through our system, a confirmation text message will be sent. This message will outline that you have reached your default limit of 5 leads and confirmation is required to continue this service. By replying “yes”, your service continues until it has reached the next 5 leads. If you reply “stop”, then the service is deactivated and your listing will be de-listed immediately. If you want your account active again, just log back in and you will be required to repeat the activation process.
Fraud Information…
When a Buyer enters in a fraudulent number or a sequence of one number (111-2222), that information will be halted and not be sent through. The user will be notified onscreen requesting valid information. If by chance that false information is sent through the system or tampering occurs, Text4Cars.com can track down the origin of the information being sent. Proper authorities will be notified to address this concern.
Are these leads good?
Just think that the user has already seen your listing and has gone as far as entering confidential contact information to be sent to the Seller. If the Buyer was not interested, would they have gone that far, knowing that someone is going to be contacting them back?
